Employee assistance and workplace wellbeing support

What is an EAP?

EAP services are designed to provide early intervention, helping individuals manage issues such as stress, anxiety, workplace conflict, burnout, grief, relationship difficulties, adjustment to change, and other life challenges. The primary aim is to support employee wellbeing, enhance resilience, and promote healthy functioning at work and in daily life.

EAP services are typically solution-focused and time-limited, with referrals to longer-term or specialist services provided when a client's needs extend beyond the scope of brief intervention.

The EAP can support

  • Stress, burnout and fatigue
  • Anxiety and mood-related concerns
  • Workplace or organisational stress
  • Sporting performance pressure and adjustment concerns
  • Conflict resolution and interpersonal difficulties
  • Grief, loss and life transitions
  • Parenting and family-related stressors
  • Resilience and coping skills development
  • Trauma-informed early intervention support

The EAP is not intended to provide

  • Long-term psychotherapy
  • Psychiatric management
  • Crisis intervention services
  • Emergency mental health care
